Vivatmo app: Update brings new Simplicity to FeNO Home Testing
Higher patient adherence and fewer study drop-outs: With the latest app feature, Bosch brings more joy and ease to FeNO home monitoring.
Feature: Real-Time Visualization of Exhalation Flow
Waiblingen, Germany – March, 2026. Bosch announces the launch of a new, optional feature for the Vivatmo app: The "Real-Time Visualization of the Exhalation Flow" is designed to significantly improve the FeNO home monitoring experience with the Vivatmo me patient device.
Inspired by the professional Vivatmo pro device, the new app guidance provides users of the Vivatmo me with live visual feedback during the breathing maneuver. It shows whether the exhalation is too soft, too strong, or perfectly executed. The new app feature makes FeNO home testing easier than ever – while the proven measuring principle inside the device remains completely unchanged.
For Vivatmo me, the FeNO@home study has confirmed excellent usability, adherence, and physician satisfaction. But this feature is a real game changer for clinical researchers and physicians managing patients remotely. The intuitive guidance encourages higher patient adherence and reduces drop-out rates, as it simplifies FeNO testing from home. Ultimately, this can lead to more FeNO values over time and save time and money for all parties involved by potentially reducing on-site visits.
